Scumbags come in all shapes and sizes, as well as all ages and genders (yes, sorry folks, there are only two...). What is a scumbag anyway? Well, a scumbag is someone who will lie, cheat, and steal to further their own ambition, social position, or monetary status. Scumbags like to accumulate power over others. They like to see others suffer and perish. They especially like to profit over the suffering of others. Do you know anyone like this? Of course you do. Scumbags are commonplace in society. It's not like you can avoid them. They're everywhere. They are your neighbors. They are truck-drivers and prostitutes. They work at the bank. They are police men and women. They are politicians and public servants. They sell worthless stuff at premium prices. They sit next to you at church and lecture about social justice. They like to tell you what matters and how you must act. They like to deliver bad news but love to say I told you so.
